Who PowerHousing Assists

The diversity of PowerHousing's membership reflects its drive to help low/mid-income people into their own home.

PowerHousing assists low/middle income families who:

  • Are actively employed
  • Are in full-time training, education or apprenticeships
  • Are relocating to pursue and/or enhance employment opportunities (this is particularly important in remote or regional areas)
  • Are struggling in the rental market because of low/middle income or circumstances

Operating from geographically strategic locations, PowerHousing services metropolitan, regional and remote communities.

Affordable housing (low/moderate income) sits between modern high-income housing and emergency welfare housing.
