Our People, Our Communities, Our Future

We combine a strong mission to increase the supply of affordable housing for low to moderate income Australians with private sector strategies and partnerships to achieve greater social impact and sustainability.

How do you....

Stretch limited resources to increase the supply of affordable housing in Australia?

Achieve national impact while retaining local accountability?

Foster non profit innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainabilty?

You bring together the nation's most creative housing nonprofits in a ground-breaking business alliance and you create lines of business for our members:

Currently PowerHousing Australia is working on the following initiatives:

  • Developing a non profit national business proposal for the Federal Government to increase the supply of affordable housing

  • Developing a business proposal for a national non profit community housing insurance initiative.

  • Developing a privately funded PowerHousing Australia Affordble Housing Trust.

  • Developing a business proposal for national group purchasing and on-line management training (JV with Private Enterprise Partner) for PowerHousing Australia members
